Norwegian traveller Steffen Dahl has reached North Pole last spring. He now wants to reach the South Pole, alone and unsupported.

Norwegian adventurer Steffen Dahl is skiing to both North and South Poles in 2011. This the way he has chosen to honor the achievements of both norwegian explorers Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen.

Dahl reached the North Pole on 15 April 2011 and will ski alone and unsupported from Hercules Inlet to the South Pole.

According to his first communiqués, he will send almost every day his position and a short story of the day. He thnks he will need between 40 and 60 days to complete the trek.
