Sean Chapple has been the leader of both Royal Navy and Marines expeditions to the Arctic and the Antarctic (2006-07)

Sean joined the Royal Marines in October 1984 after completing the 8 month commando course, and gaining the coveted green beret. Since then he has had the opportunity to train and operate in most environments around the globe.

During his extensive career he has served with all three Commando Units within 3 Commando Brigade and served at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines as a recruit instructor. Seeking to compliment the extreme challenges offered by the Royal Marines he sought further challenges through expeditions.

Sean is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
