Ultra marathon runner Pat Farmer is proceeding with his long run from North to South Pole. He just entered Mexico and he finds the country fascinating...

Not having yet the dates of the unfolding of his trek, we carry on telling our visitors short stories about Farmer's long run the same way we did before. This after having watched carefully the latest vids put on his website -the only source of information for this Pole to Pole adventure.

One must admid that on the other side of the Continent, the news concerning the other adventurer cycling from North to South Pole aren't that numerous either. But at least, Nilson, even if he writes very few things about his voyage, has finally decided to put the dates below every piece of information. This gives us at least a better idea of his progression.

What happened this last few days with Farmer ? He fell simply in love with Mexico, the kindness of its people, the beauty of its landscape, the kindness of its welcome. Of course, once more, at almost every town he passes, the local Red Cross poeple meet him on the street organizing small parties everywhere.

In addition, this week we have been informed by Farmer himself that every time he stops running at night, his team draws a well visible mark 'P2P' in white on the bitumen in order to know where exactly they have to come back next morning to start the day at the same geographical point where he has stopped the evening before.

So that in the future, he will have no problem to announce that he has really run the total distance existing between the NP to the SP!
