Pat Farmer the ultramarathon runner does not send anymore news since a few days already. His last Twitter dates back to 8 December. We know that he is moving south anyway...
As his almost daily position is still published, we can calculate that between 11 and 17 December, Pat Farmer has run a little bit more than 3 degrees in latitude which makes about 333 km, considering that a degree of latitude represents 111 km. About a daily 65 km pace.
We still are not yet convinced, like we wrote the other day (see our coverage), that the Aussie will be able to reach Uniion Glacier ALE base camp in time -if he carries on running all the way down to Punta Arenas.
