Little news of the Icecap Journeys trio. They seem to be making steady progress at an average of about 18 kilometres per day.

  • 29 March 2010, Day 30: distance covered: 7.85 nautical miles in 9 hours, temperature: -25°C, windchill : -40°C, moving sheets of ice
  • 31 March 2010, Day 32: distance covered: 8.56 nautical miles in 9 hours, position: 86.015 N / 75.656 W, ice covered with snow
  • 02 April  2010, Day 34: distance covered: 8.6 nautical miles in 8 hours 40 minutes, temperature: -19°C, fog, position: 86.429 N / 74.939 W, sun at the end of the day
  • 04 April 2010, Day 36: distance covered: 9.04 nautical miles in 9 hours 25 minutes, temperature: -30°C, soft snow on the ice, position : 86.700 N / 74.675 W
  • 05 April 2010, Day 37: distance covered: 9.06  nautical miles in 9 hours, little visibility, blizzard conditions, strong westward drift, position: 86.847 N / 75.438 W

The positions are given in the evening. 1 nautical mile = 1.852 km.
