The two expeditions Børge Ousland and his team are organizing this season are both commercial adventures. One is putting tourists at about 200 km from the SP, the other is following a part of historical Amundsen's journey.

One swallow does not a summer make : in order to inform our visitors about the details of a commercial polar product we publish two propositions made by B. Ousland and team to commemorate the immense centenary.

The first one concerns the last two degrees. The tourists are dropped at about 200 km from the South Pole and they are guided by professional polar guides all the way to the goal. People has to be well trained even if the distance travelled is not that big. Cost : about US $ 52.500,- (to be confirmed).

The other one concerns a 700 km trek starting at the bottom of the famous Axel Heiberg glacier -also guided by professional pollar guides if not by Børge Ousland himself. "This is a full on expedition, writes Ousland. You must have an adventure CV or proof that you have what it takes to participate. We will do it our (Norwegian) way and there will be mandatory prep camps. You will have both to train hard, put on weight and prepare well for this expedition. But then we can guarantee you will be proud reaching the very South Pole along the route Amundsen did! Cost : about US $ 75.000,-.
