17 days on the ice

Published on 15.11.2011 - Antarctica 2011- 2012

Like we have said previously, it's always a bit difficult to follow Alexander Gamme on the ice, because of his 'only norwegian' website.

Nevertheless we can extract some information about his progression.

On day 16 (we do not have the date), he has been on the ice for 9 1/2 hours progressing 15 km, the next day, same time spent outside and 13 km done.

In the mean time, he said he had some time to re-think all his adventure and make three basic comments.

Result : first, he should analyse more deeply the way his progression is unfolding, second, he has to give a real sens to each day, third, he has to enjoy more the madness of what he is doing and sing as loud as he can on the ice...
