Gathering at the start line

Published on 03.01.2012 - South Pole Race 2011/2012 Centenary Race

Coming from the South, coming from the North, coming from POI, all the EWR teams are slowly gathering at the start line of the race. The competitors are almost all there allready. Coming by plane from Novolazarevskaya.

Tony Martin and his three vehicles who have been to McMurdo took the time to make a short return trip, starting from the start line and heading to the bust of Lenin still visible at the Pole of Inaccessibility. The voyage was without any breakdown. Another good publicity for EWR.

Weather permitting (it's bad weather at Novo for the moment), the last competitors should arrive at the start line at the end of today or tomorrow. Then the race will begin.
