Final Assault

Published on 07.07.2008 - The TisoTransGreenland Expedition

Alex Hibbert and George Bullard have successfully reached their stored provisions. They are now preparing for their descent the coast and their arrival at Qanaaq.

Thursday, 3 July was their hundredth day on Greenland's polar icecap. "Our hundredth day was pretty windy and overcast", Hibbert wrote.

The following day, they told their readers that they were increasing their protein intake in order to prepare their bodies for the challenges of the imminent descent towards the coast.

And two days later, their impatience for a first sight of the coastal mountains was made abundantly clear to one and all!
