Welcome to Polar Challenges ! This website has been redesigned to be in line with the other websites run by the International Polar Foundation and to provide a closer overview of Polar expeditions. Expeditions scheduled in 2006-2007 will continue to be covered in this re-launched version of the site.

Initially, only a minimal amount of content will be transferred from the previous to the new website. However, the transfer process will continue at a steady and regular pace in the months to come. Until the transfer is complete, the previous version of the website will still be accessible online.

This new website is designed for you. Feel free to comment and to drop us a mail. The IPF webteam would also like to introduce you to the Foundation's 3 other websites:

SciencePoles

The SciencePoles website provides an overview of polar science and research findings as well as recent and forthcoming developments across a range of scientific disciplines. It is a key tool for the International Polar Foundation in aiming to bridge the science-society divide.

EducaPoles

EducaPoles is the IPF's educational site. It sets out to sensitize young people and the educational world to the importance of the Polar Regions and climate change by proposing adapted teaching tools and projects.

International Polar Foundation

The IPF website is presenting you the International Polar Foundation through its objectives, structure, projects and creations.
