The big day has finally come for the young team of Optical Express.

Nice victory for the young team members of Optical Express. After quite some difficulties, poor luck with the weather and many sufferings, le British Cameron Hudson and American John Huston have finally made it to the South Pole. That was on January 24, at 3 11 pm.

They were greeted by the station's crew before being allowed to visit the new buildings built by the Americans of the NSF. "The people at the station came up to us with their cameras, as though we were celebrities ...", they wrote in their log book before setting off to their tents to get some sleep...
