The descent has begun

The two men are alternating between good and bad terrain, and good days and bad days.

Alex Hibbert (22) and George Bulard (19) continue to send back rather laconic reports about their progress. In any event, according to these dispatches, all appears to be going well on the expedition and they have reached the stage where they are beginning to descent towards the west coast of Greenland.

They have also been successful in locating thei stashes of supplies which had been dropped off along their route. It appears that they have had to contend with weather of every type, including whiteout conditions which have slowed down their progress, if not made it impossible for them to move at all. Both men are in good health, but the tips of their fingers are suffering a little from the extreme cold.
