Wood : another 122 kil to go

Published on 06.01.2012 - North South Solo Expedition -Leg 2

As after the South Pole, Marc Wood will be preparing his next expedition and afterwards be rushing to the North Pole, he considers that his expedition is far from being over.

That's probably why he takes the things quite easy.

As he does not have to go back to Union Glacier ALE Base camp kiting, he still has some time to spare. So he seems to be quite happy with his 15 to 17 nautical miles done every day. According to his HQ, he should arrive at the South Pole on Monday.

Then fly back to Union Glacier Base camp. Before taking the plane to Punta Arenas and back to England.

Every day, as he has also a school project related to his expedition, he tries to anser by satellite phone to some classes in England that are following his trek.
