  • These hulls do over a really pretty sight
  • Anchoring in an exposed area caused 3 ships to break their moorings. They managed to escape from the beach and rocks nearby by quickly starting their engine.
  • The Gulf Stream influence is obvious: Papyrus, Eucalyptus and a wealth of tropical flora.

  • In our ever lasting quest for vintage boats we came across a superb 32 foot Watson built in 1963

  • An array of varied exhibits here: An Inuit Kayak,  a Wailer from the Acores and a Dhow from Qatar. These have been assembled with the greatest attention and care, making it a truly enjoyable sight.

  • Avannaq was grateful for the Port Captain's decision to let her take shelter along with the Dinghys.
