Eddy Hutch, born in 1942, the last Skinboats (naomhóg) specialist for 43 years. He took interest in rowing following an injury. He became a champion on his famous boat "nr 6" which he designed and built himself. He continued to improve it over the years and remained at the top. He has since then built hundreds of naomhógs, has converted many children and adolescents and remains head of the first.Irish Curragh club with over 150 members well trained for competition. He also built the boats used in the club
