Mill Dave (Scotland)

The Scott Mill Dave, born in 1968, will probably be remembered as the man who failed the Ward Hunt-North Pole trek three times in a row, in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Mortvedt Art (United States)

Art Mortvedt has been involved with polar expeditions to both Arctic and Antarctic for 25 years. He is an elected member of The Explorers Club, New York and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London.

Ousland Borge (Norway)

Norwegian Borge Ousland is one of the mots famous polar explorer of our times. He has crossed, solo, both the Arctic Ocean and the Antarctic.
Paton Charlie (Scotland)

In May 2000, Charlie along with Royal Marine companion Alan Chambers succeeded in becoming the first Brits to walk unsupported from the Canadian coastline to the Geographical North Pole (Team Polar 2000). Ten years later, Charlie took part in the second expedition of the Catlin Arctic Survey.
Philips Eric (Australia)

The Australian Eric Philips has lead expeditions to the four biggest ice caps in the world and has been, with his fellow citizen and companion John Muir, the first Australian to reach both the North and South Pole on skis.
Pitras Olivier (France)

After facing the green inferno of the Amazon forest where he buys his first ship and exploring the canals that run through the Tierra del fuego and Patagonia, Olivier Pitras becomes the first Frenchman to cross the freezing waters of the Arctic Ocean by sailboat (Northwest Passage).
Portrandolfo Michele (Italy)

Michele Portrandolfo has attempted twice to reach North Pole (solo and without outside assistance) via the classic route leaving from Ward Hunt. He never made it.
Rigato Rob (Australia)

59 years old (in 2010), Rob Rigato is an Australian who's passionate about the great outdoors and a life of adventure. For 30 years, he has been running a school in Melbourne that educates young people about contact with nature. In the spring of 2010, he successfully completed the Ward Hunt > North Pole trek.
Russell Amelia (Great Britain)
